Community Iftars

In Ramadan 2026 we held two Community Iftars, which is the name for the meal used to break fasts during in Islam. Over the two nights we enabled 160 people to come together, listen to the call to prayer (which was performed by one of our clients), a separate prayer room for Muslim attendees to pray in, to share food from a local restaurant, as well as learn about Islam and its traditions.

Christmas Fayre

Christmas Fayre

Our annual Christmas Fayre is held at The Old School House on the last weekend of November. Each year we have a free grotto, as we believe all children who attend the Fayre should get to see Santa. We also have chances to win prizes, buy presents for loved ones and lots of food to enjoy on the day, plus a Grand Raffle with lots of brilliant prizes. Entry is free.

Mohsen BBQing

Refugee Week BBQ

Each year on the last day of Refugee Week we host an internal celebration of our clients through a BBQ. This is held in a lovely local venue with a gorgeous outdoor/indoor area, with lots of cultural foods and clients leading dancing and celebrating.
